In order to receive their gift, your prospects will have to give you their email. You are now creating a list of potential clients who are already interested in what you do. Email marketing is still one of the most effective ways to market.

Social media is great for traffic generation, connecting with your audience, posting your free gifts and attracting potential clients. But, ultimately, you want to sell to your clients in your email list, not on social media. A lead magnet is an inexpensive way to build your list without having to do expensive ads! So, I want to share with you some important things you must have to create an irresistible lead magnet. To create a great lead magnet that people want to open and consume, you need to get clear on some of your niche market’s most pressing problems and challenges. What is one problem that keeps them up at night? What small but important step can I help my audience take that will help them move closer to getting this problem resolved and wanting to work with me in some paid capacity in the future? When you identify one pressing issue and give them some key tips or strategies to solve the problem, they get a quick win! And it also leaves them wanting more and asking themselves ‘what else can I learn I learn from this expert?’ Giving something useful and valuable for free is one of the best ways to get attention in a crowded space. You give your potential clients a taste of your expertise and an opportunity to sample what it’s like to experience your product or service. Write down 3 of the most pressing problems, struggles, or challenges your niche market faces. Choose one problem you can address that you know is top of mind for them. Once you’ve identified the problem you know they have, you want to offer solutions for something they can do right now. 3 foods you can add to your normal diet to immediately amp up energy. What are 2 or 3 tips/strategies you can offer to help them solve their challenge? It’s very important that you offer what I call your golden nuggets, meaning your best advice and tips. People can google a lot of information, so you want to really dive deep and ask yourself, what can I share that is unique and extremely helpful to my audience? Get creative with it! Would this solution I just offered be something I would do or something that would motivate me? This question helps you move from generic to specific in the advice you offer and helps you design those golden nuggets! And remember, when they consume information and experience they value, you will leave them craving more. The same is true of your free lead magnet. If your title isn’t compelling, people will not sign up for it, even if it’s free. Audiences today are inundated with information from social media and the web. Most likely the second one because we used a number. Numbers work well because they tell you that you won’t have to do a zillion things. The verbs engage and attract are stronger words that excite you to want to learn more. The word instantly is a winner because it lets you know you can have your challenge solved immediately! Creating a great title is about using your creative imagination. A great way to create your title is to write as fast as you can. Write at least 10 different ones. Then you can combine and tweak.
