When Wholeness And Pleasure Come Together
Some people have wonderful memories of picking wild strawberries for jam. The colors, textures, and smells provided a blissful sensory experience, and the rose consciousness is sweet and refined, almost as if it is playing a lyrical tune. Children can feel these beautiful vibrations easily and respond to them. The plants gave their sweetness with love, and the jam was the best you ever tasted. Children would sing and dream while wandering in the strawberry bramble, not realizing they were connecting with the consciousness of the plants. The beauty and wisdom of plants is all around you. Sit with your back against trees or work in the garden. Be with plants and growing flora. Smell flowers and appreciate that they give their sweetness freely, hoping to attract a bee to bless them with pollen and blessing you in the process. All of those actions will help you connect with the plants surrounding you, whether it be the tree outside your bedroom window, the potted plant in your living room, or the garden in your yard. Notice plants, and they will notice you. Give your good wishes to plants, and they will pour forth good wishes to you.

From Native American tribes to Celtic peoples to African and Asian cultures, dancing one’s gratitude is a more common practice than you might think. Today you might choose to step out of your comfort zone and try it for a few minutes. Bliss may very well await, but you won’t know unless you try. Clear a space indoors or outdoors. You might string up garlands of flowers or make colorful signs. Set a jubilant stage. It could be something you play or sing yourself or from a recording of any kind. Get the people together. It might be just you, you and your pets, or you and your buds. Dress in your finest party outfit or in your ceremonial garb. Start the music and begin to dance. Visualize what you are thankful for as you dance. See it in your mind and let your surroundings recede while letting your body move however it feels inspired. You might jump up and down. You might roll around on the floor. Just move organically. Start speaking or singing aloud about your gratitude. Sing about all your blessings. Dance to punctuate your words. Feel colors as you move and sing. You can close your eyes to tune in to them. Be grateful for the colors, the richness, and the dance. When it feels complete, turn off any recordings and lie on the floor in quiet. Soak in the blissful gratitude vibes. Sense your emotions and energy. After about ten minutes, sit up, journal about your experience, and share with your group if there is one. Before concluding, thank everyone involved, including yourself. Empower yourself with it today. I live love in each moment. I let love heal me and elevate me to my highest self.
